Credentialing 201: Implementation – Certification Standards

NCQA Credentialing Accreditation evaluates the operations of organizations providing full-scope credentialing services, which includes verifying practitioner credentials and credentialing/recredentialing committee review of practitioners. This online course dives into the standards for Credentialing Accreditation or “CRA” Standards. NCQA faculty and surveyors guide participants in addressing critical performance implications for credentialing practices. The course includes examples and lessons learned to help participants define, plan, and achieve excellence in credentialing.

Publication Alignment

This learning activity covers requirements from multiple versions of the Credentialing and Provider Network (CRPN) program. Content updates, if any, are released two months after the CRPN publication release. Learners are advised to refer to their Interactive Survey Tool (IRT) for guidance regarding their specific survey type and version. Learners are also advertised to review the “Notable Changes” table within the Front Matter of the CRPN e-Publication.
