Free Recognition Training Programs

NCQA Recognition Programs holds monthly customer education sessions for each program. All current and potential customers are invited to attend audio (telephone) conference workshops or WebEx training sessions that combine audio and Internet-accessible video presentations. No reservations are required. Follow the links below to course information.

Getting On Board PCMH
This session gives a high level overview of the start-to-finish process for submission, the platforms required, as well as helpful hints to keep you on track.

Prerequisite: None.

Target audience: PCP practices contemplating become Recognized under one of the NCQA’s PCMH programs.

Format:  WebEx and audio. One 120-minute presentation.

PCMH 2011 Standards
Training covers PCMH 2011 standards and elements. Time for questions is allotted.

Prerequisite: You must have a copy of PCMH 2011 Standards before attending.  Obtain a free copy of the PCMH Standards and Guidelines 2011.

Target audience: Decision makers for primary care practices; practice clinicians and administrative staff who will be preparing the PCMH 2011 submission.

Format: Workshop (audio). Two 90-minute sessions, scheduled on two consecutive weeks.

PPC-PCMH 2008 Standards
Training covers PPC-PCMH 2008 standards and elements. Time for questions is allotted.

Prerequisite: You must already have the PCMH Standards and Guidelines 2008 before attending.

Target audience: Decision makers for primary care practices; practice clinicians and administrative staff who will be preparing the PPC-PCMH 2008 submission.

Format: Workshop (audio). Two 90-minute sessions, scheduled on two consecutive weeks.

PPC 2006 Standards

Target audience: Decision makers for primary care or specialty practices; practice clinicians and administrative staff who will be preparing the PPC submission.

Format: Workshop (audio) offered on a customer’s request. One 90-minute session.

Using the Interactive Survey System (ISS) for PCMH
Learn how to navigate the ISS Survey Tool, respond to standard requirements, attach documents, self assess and submit for PCMH 2011, PPC-PCMH 2008 or PPC 2006 Recognition. Time for questions is allotted.

Prerequisite: None.

Target audience: Practice staff who will be completing the practice’s licensed ISS Survey Tool.

Format: WebEx and audio. One 90-minute presentation.


The Online Application and How to Submit as a Multi-Site Practice
All practices applying for PCMH 2011, PPC-PCMH 2008 and PPC 2006 Recognition must complete an online application before submitting the ISS Survey Tool. This session guides users through the application process, and discusses the multi-site submission process in detail.

Prerequisite: None.

Target audience: Decision makers; clinicians and administrative staff who will be submitting an ISS Survey Tool.

Format: WebEx and audio. One 90-minute presentation.
 


DRP Standards
Training covers DRP standards. Time for questions is allotted.

Prerequisite: NCQA recommends that attendees purchase the DRP package and review the standards before the session.

Target audience: Decision makers; practice clinicians and administrative staff who will be submitting a DRP data collection tool.

Format: Workshop (audio). One 60-minute session.

Prerequisite: NCQA recommends that attendees purchase the HSRP package  and review the standards before the session.

Training covers the technical aspects of submitting the DRP data collection tool or the HSRP data collection tool. (Does not cover DRP or HSRP standards.) Time for questions is allotted.

BPRP Standards
Training covers BPRP standards, the technical aspects of the BPRP data collection tool and the application process.

Prerequisite: None.

Target audience: Decision makers; practice clinicians and administrative staff who will be submitting a BPRP data collection tool.

Format: Prerecorded workshop can be accessed any time.
