About the On-Demand Webinar
One of the challenges practice facilitators face as they assist teams in workflow transformation is finding the right balance between doing the work of transformation and teaching the team how to transform. Most of us are naturally fixers, problem solvers and doers—and we find joy in what we do. But while these characteristics set us up for success in driving change, it can hinder our ability to foster change-making capabilities for our practices.
Join us and learn how to strike a balance between doing the work for practices and teaching them how to build capacity to learn new skills and adapt their workflow. We’ll discuss case examples and the necessary skills to effectively drive change while building practice capabilities to support ongoing transformation.
This webinar is designed for PCMH Certified Content Experts (CCEs) and for staff at primary care and specialty care practices. CCEs are also invited to continue the conversation by following the Practice Facilitation Companion Blog Series in the PCMH CCE Digital Community.
What Will You Learn
At the conclusion of the module, participants will have the knowledge they need to:
• Identify necessary skills to effectively drive change.
• Utilize coaching strategies to motivate practice transformation team members.
• Recognize when to ‘do’ the work and when to ‘teach’ the work practice transformation.
• Outline the steps for how to build practice capabilities to support independence in driving change.
