The Health Plan Data Quality Convening is a structured, time-bound forum designed to bring health plans together to identify the capabilities, challenges and approaches needed to support trusted data for digital quality measurement. Insights from the convening will help inform future data quality initiatives.
Through a series of facilitated discussions, participants will:
- Share insights on data quality challenges across the clinical data lifecycle.
- Provide input on emerging frameworks.
- Identify gaps between current approaches and operational realities.
- Contribute to a more aligned, trusted and scalable approach to data quality.

How the Convening Works
Participants will take part in three virtual sessions from August through November 2026. Sessions will include:
- Presentations from NCQA.
- Interactive breakout discussions.
- Exercises focused on key challenges and opportunities.
NCQA may provide pre-reads to support participation.
How to Participate
Interested in joining the Health Plan Data Quality Convening? Complete the inquiry form to receive notification when the Request for Participation opens in July 2026. Applications will be open for a two-week period, and selected participants will be invited to join the inaugural convening beginning in August 2026.
