Advancing Health Equity Measurement in Medicaid
A National Conversation on a Measurement Framework for Accountability in Medicaid
High quality health care is equitable health care. However, policymakers and health plans have struggled to identify a consistent approach to building equity into their quality measurement and accountability strategies. NCQA, with support from the California Health Care Foundation, has developed the Health Equity Measurement Framework for Accountability in Medicaid as a tool to help states, health plans and their partners center equity in accountability programs.
Join us on October 11 for a conversation on how this framework can be leveraged to promote equity in Medicaid and beyond.
At the conclusion of this webinar, you’ll be able to:
- Describe the Health Equity Measurement Framework for Medicaid Accountability and its domains and measures.
- Identify potential use cases of the framework and its elements, both by state Medicaid programs and managed care organizations.
- Understand how an equity-focused framework can improve consumer and patient experiences within Medicaid and the broader health care ecosystem.
- Identify areas where health equity measurement can evolve and expand in the future.
