Preparing for Digital HEDIS®? Learn How One Health System Integrated CGM Data at Scale
- Tuesday, November 10, 2026
- 1:00 PM (ET)
As digital quality measurement evolves, health systems need reliable access to continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) data without adding documentation burden for clinicians. NCQA’s proposed Continuous Glucose Monitoring Utilization measure and expanded digital glycemic reporting underscore the need to capture standardized CGM metrics in structured, extractable electronic health record fields. In this webinar, Tidepool and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center will share a real-world case study of transitioning from manual CGM documentation to a production integration that brings standardized device data directly into discrete EHR fields. The integration uses HL7 v2 messaging transmitted through the Redox interoperability platform, allowing clinicians to initiate data retrieval through an EHR order.
What You’ll Learn
- How to replace manual CGM transcription with standardized, structured device data.
- Practical considerations for integrating CGM summary metrics into discrete EHR fields.
- Architectural and governance decisions involved in operationalizing device data infrastructure.
- Key tradeoffs between HL7 v2 and FHIR interoperability approaches.
- Strategies for supporting data completeness, audit readiness and digital HEDIS reporting.
Why Attend
If your organization is preparing for digital quality reporting, this session will provide practical insight into moving CGM data from external devices into usable EHR fields. You’ll leave with lessons from production implementation and considerations to help your organization build a more scalable, consistent and audit-ready approach to CGM quality measurement.
