The first Digital Quality Summit, hosted by NCQA and HL7, was held on November 1-2, 2017 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC.


The first Digital Quality Summit, hosted by NCQA and HL7, was held on November 1-2, 2017 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC.

The Summit brought together key players in the health IT field and demonstrated emerging technology standards for quality reporting. Summit participants discussed topics such as:

  • Health data interoperability.
  • Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR®) standard.
  • Clinical Quality Language (CQL).
  • Clinical Decision Support (CDS).

Participants demonstrated how these technologies are changing the way quality is assessed through interactive breakout working sessions and presentations by subject matter experts.
