Every year, NCQA sends a group of scientists to present our latest groundbreaking research at AcademyHealth’s Annual Research Meeting. This year, we broke our previous record by showcasing 13 research projects at the meeting. In the video below, NCQA Senior Health Care Analyst Nora Fritz presents one of the research posters highlighted at the meeting. Nora discusses timely follow-up care for commercial, Medicare and Medicaid managed care plan beneficiaries who are discharged from the ED for drug abuse or dependence or mental illness.
