Carol Macumber, MS, PMP, FAMIA
Executive Vice President of Professional Services, Clinical Architecture

Carol Macumber brings over 15 years of experience spanning across project management, enterprise software development and maintenance, and consulting. She has a Master’s degree in biomedical engineering and Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. Her experience includes deploying terminology management solutions at organizations including NCQA, PCPI, Canada Health Infoway, US Pharmacopeia and the Association of Public Health Laboratories. Carol has contributed to various international standards including HL7 FHIR. Carol is well respected in the health IT community and was the elected Affiliate Forum representative to the IHTSDO Technical Committee, is the Vice-chair of the HL7 Terminology Authority, a Co-Chair of the HL7 Vocabulary Working Group and a Fellow of the American Medical Informatics Association (FAMIA).

Julia Skapik, MD, MPH

Dr. Julia Skapik is an Experienced Physician Informaticist with a demonstrated history of working in the intersection of informatics, government policy, and health care delivery. Skilled in Terminology, Health IT Standards, Clinical Workflow and Implementation, Epidemiology/Biostatistics, Internal Medicine, Healthcare Management, Public and Population Health, and Policy Analysis. Strong healthcare services professional with a MD and an MPH focused in epidemiology/biostatistics from The Johns Hopkins University Schools of Medicine and Public Health and Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Clinical Informatics. Dr. Skapik also serves as a Director on the Board of HealthLevel7 and as the CMIO of LogicaHealth.
