Accreditation Manager

The position will manage the survey processby preparing customers and survey team members for surveys, adjudicating customer inquiries pertaining to surveys, conducting accreditation and certification surveys, reviewing preliminary survey results for accuracy and completeness, and responding to customer comments on the preliminary survey results. In support of this role, Accreditation Managers are actively involved in developing policies and procedures for accreditation, including developing new standards and refineing old ones. Accreditation managers also serve as a product champion, gaining special expertise in at least one product. 

Analyst, eMeasures

This position supports the maintenance of eMeasures. Major responsibilities include eMeasure updating and maintenance of eMeasures in the measure authoring tool, updating code sets for eMeasures and communicating with internal customers. The Analyst will be responsible for participating in establishment of goals, and prioritization of work to ensure updates occur on time.  

Coordinator, Licensure & Certification

This position supports the operation of the HEDIS Compliance Audit and the HEDIS Software Certification programs and supports tracking and reporting of business performance for all Licensed Organizations, Certified Auditors, and Certified Software Vendors. The candidate is the primary contact for external inquiries. This person organizes, coordinates and participates in all audit and certification activities, including contract management, exam preparation, auditor and vendor training, database management, event planning, committee meeting oversight and communication with external constituents.

Data Architect

This position is responsible for architecting the technical development, programming, and implementation of data warehouse, data-marts and extract, transformation and loading (ETL) processes related to NCQA data collection and reporting programs. Serves as the technical lead on the technical design, development, distribution, and maintenance of data collection, extraction and reporting applications. Produces software development lifecycle documentation and troubleshoots technical issues related to programming code execution. Maintains current industry knowledge on the trends of technology in general as related to the architecting and programming of within data warehouses, data-mart and reporting solutions.

Developer

This position will work in a highly productive small team environment executing programming approaches to support various application development projects. The individual will develop MS Visual Studio/SQL Server, web based applications. 

Director, Customer Resources

This position will be responsible for developing and delivering the Educational Assistance Program (EAP) designed to provide NCQA constituents with instruction and technical assistance in quality improvement through HEDIS® , to develop clinical improvement initiatives and understanding of NCQA’s Accreditation and Certification programs; also works with Corporate Development to obtain funding to support the EAP; supports Educational activities including corporate training. 

Director, Health IT Programs

NCQA currently has four large federal contracts to develop quality measures for reporting from electronic health records. The Director will lead a cross departmental team and be responsible for coordination and deliverables across the contracts. In addition, this individual will play a leadership role in identifying and seeking additional business, including proposal writing. Responsible for supervision of two staff. 

Health Care Analyst

The Health Care Analyst will provide research and project management support for research and measures development. The Health Care Analyst will support the development and maintenance of performance measures for HEDIS and other NCQA products. Major responsibilities include compiling and assessing the evidence for performance measures related to populations and/or clinical conditions, compiling and assessing the state of science for various research projects, consulting with clinical and methodological experts, describing trends in data, and communicating with internal and external customers.

Licensure & Certification Analyst

 

This position supports the operation of NCQA’s Software Certification programs by tracking and reporting on business performance for all Certified Software Vendors. The candidate is the primary contact for external inquiries. This person organizes and participates in all certification activities, including contract management, vendor training, database management, committee meeting oversight, and communication with external constituents. The position also includes annual analysis of HEDIS and other performance measures for updates and modifications needed to support the vendor testing. 

Network Administrator

This position performs network support for NCQA’s Information Technology Operations and ensures the stable operation of the company’s network environment. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting and optimizing the network infrastructure which includes hardware, software, telephones and teleworker support. The position also analyzes and resolves end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and supports the organization’s helpdesk function by providing second and third-tiered support when required.

Policy Manager

The Policy Manager primarily serves as the product and content expert for the NCQA Wellness and Health Promotion and Case Management standards. In this capacity, the Policy Manager leads and participates in activities associated with development and maintenance of product-specific Standards and Guidelines, clarification of content-specific issues for external and internal customers, review, preparation and/or presentation of educational materials and regulatory crosswalks, and development of support staff (analyst and administrative staff) by providing coaching. The Policy Manager works collaboratively with members of the Policy team and with other areas of the organization to help advance NCQA’s mission and support efforts to make NCQA a Great and Healthy Place to Work. 

 

Senior Health Care Analyst

The Senior Health Care Analyst will take a leadership role in project content and management. Major responsibilities include managing measure development activities and other research projects, consulting with experts in the field, and communicating with external and internal customers. The Senior Health Care Analyst will be responsible for establishing goals, prioritizing work and operationalizing input from expert panels as well as managing the development of materials to support the work of these expert panels.  

Senior Application Developer

The Senior Application Developer is responsible for architecting the technical development, programming, and implementation of web-based applications related to NCQA data collection and reporting programs at an expert level. Serves as the technical lead on the technical design, development, distribution, and maintenance of data collection and reporting applications. Manages and coaches other development staff on projects. Develops and enforces technical processes and standards. Produces software development lifecycle documentation and troubleshoots technical issues related to programming code execution. Maintains current industry knowledge on the trends of technology as related to the architecting and programming of web-based applications and mentors staff in the understanding and adoption of appropriate technology. 

Sr. Health Care Analyst, HIT and Clinical Measures

The Senior Health Care Analyst will work with the Physician Informaticist and Director-HIT (Health Information Technology) Projects to carry out work in HIT-related projects. Major responsibilities include supporting measure development and specification tasks, coordination and management of expert panels from industry experts, and education/outreach for internal and external stakeholders. The Clinical Measure Analyst will perform background research needed to support eMeasure projects, stay abreast with current methods in clinical performance measurement, and operationalize input from expert panels and partners.
