Senior Research Scientist
The Senior Research Scientist will provide senior level quantitative analysis, technical assistance, project leadership & management, proposal leadership and project development support to performance measurement and to other areas of NCQA as needed. In addition, the position will assist with, and in some cases oversee, implementation of NCQA’s projects consistent with the mission and vision of the organization including the development of proposals related to internally and externally funded contracts and grants, internal reports & scientific manuscripts, as well as making key contributions to collaborative research projects with corporate, university and government groups.
Senior Research Associate
The Senior Research Associate in the Quality Measurement & Research Group is principally responsible for managing the development and evaluation of quality measure initiatives. The Senior Research Associate must be highly organized, demonstrate creativity and proficiency in applying analytical methods using complex data, and make difficult decisions while operating in contingent environments. This position requires specialized knowledge of health related topics, specifically an in-depth knowledge of nationally-recognized quality metrics (e.g., HEDIS, ACO, MU), industry standard code sets (e.g., ICD, CPT, SNOMED), and data sources (e.g., claims, encounter, registry, charts, EHRs and survey).
Senior Sales Associate
The Senior Sales Associate is responsible for helping the sales team meet its revenue objectives by managing and nurturing new customer and prospect experiences through all stages of sales cycles. Working collaboratively with Marketing and other functional units, the Associate will help to manage numerous outreach campaigns that support Customer Engagement and new sales activities for the various NCQA products and programs. Primary responsibilities will be to identify new prospect opportunities for the products and services that NCQA provides and to manage the customer and prospect experiences throughout the sales cycles leading to closure of opportunities. The Associate will be adept at using Salesforce to manage daily activities, contact relationships and to track the progression and closure of opportunities. Leading new sales initiatives through departmental collaboration, outbound calling and email outreach are strong requirements of this position. The Associate will also be responsible for assisting the AVP with preparation, maintenance and submission of the required monthly reporting to Leadership Team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
The Coordinator performs a variety of administrative duties to help facilitate effective and efficient management of Accreditation Operations. The Coordinator works closely with various Accreditation team members to perform a variety of coordination, monitoring, and project management duties; handle scheduling and organizing meetings and events and maintaining agenda for various committees; documenting, monitoring and communicating needed actions; producing reports and updating materials; maintaining a positive relationship with internal and external customers; and working with staff to continuously improve processes and systems. The position requires demonstrated proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, attention to detail and excellent communications skills in setting up internal and external meetings, ability to work independently and responsibly, exercise good independent judgment and initiative in balancing assignments.
Assistant Director, Product Development
The Assistant Director directs the development and enhancement of NCQA’s recognition, accreditation, or certification product(s) from initial concepts through product launch and maintenance. This involves leading development teams in their work from initial concepts through final specifications. The Assistant Director works cross functionally with other departments and teams on product creation and implementation.
Director, Program and Operational Integrity
The director will lead, oversee and manage investigative activities related to the standards regarding complaints, fraud, regulatory sanctions and allegations of other misconduct involving organizations with NCQA statutes. Participate in activities and projects to improve product and operational effectiveness. Manage and monitor Accreditation Operations adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., COI process), term limits on committees and completion of necessary documentation to maintain compliance. Conducts training and development to improve program integrity and operational effectiveness.
Phyllis Torda Health Care Quality Fellowship
The Phyllis Torda Health Care Quality Fellowship Program enables NCQA to train a new generation of health care quality leaders from diverse backgrounds. It celebrates the life of Phyllis Torda, who was devoted to improving the national health care system. Her work was wide-ranging and included efforts to promote the use of electronic health records and patient-reported outcomes for performance measurement, and new strategies and methodologies for physician measurement.
The Policy Analyst researches and provides answers to external and internal customers’ inquiries. The analyst provides support in the development and maintenance of Accreditation, Certification and specialty products. The Policy Analyst provides analytical support related to the standards within the Accreditation, Certification and specialty products to all areas of NCQA.
Product Marketing Manager, Health Care and Physicians
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving all Marketing and Communications efforts for NCQA’s suite of Recognition Program products, which evaluate the quality of health care provided at physician practices and within health systems. You will develop messaging and strategy for demand generation and work closely with sales on lead generation and lead nurturing efforts. Past experience in lead generation and marketing to health systems and physician practices is a requirement.
NCQA is recruiting a Research Scientist to develop, lead, and collaborate on research and performance measure development focusing on a variety of areas including any of the following: quality improvement, long-term services and supports, geriatric medicine, palliative care, behavioral health, children’s health, risk-adjustment and patient-reported outcomes. The position is primarily funded by grants and contracts. The Research Scientist will lead/collaborate on the development and implementation of research grants, direct the implementation of ongoing measure development efforts, supervise quantitative and qualitative data collection efforts, prepare scientific manuscripts and reports for broad stakeholder audiences, represent NCQA to key scientific and stakeholder audiences.

This position requires specialized knowledge of a variety of health related topics, ideally in behavioral health, as well as nationally-recognized quality metrics, industry standard code sets, and data sources. Responsibilities include the development, planning, and implementation of research investigations, evaluations and assessments based on standard scientific methods related to quality improvement.
