NCQA Recognition Programs Data License
Essential for organizations that support empowerment through provider directories and identification tools.
NCQA’s Recognition programs acknowledge practices and clinicians who use evidence-based measures and the latest clinical protocols to ensure delivery of high-quality care. Many of the nation’s leading clinicians and practices have earned NCQA Recognition. Although recognition programs were designed with delivery of care in mind, they also encourage employers, health plans and consumers to make informed heath care decisions based on quality of care.
For organizations supporting directories and identification tools, conducting research or designing incentive programs, the data license offers detailed lists of NCQA-Recognized practices and clinicians.
NCQA’s Recognition Data License contains information for the following programs.
- Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH)
- Patient-Centered Specialty Practice Recognition (PCSP)
- Patient-Centered Connected Care™ (PCCC)
- Diabetes Recognition Program (DRP)
- Heart/Stroke Recognition Program (HSRP)
Recognition Data Licenses are available as a one-time or recurring monthly data access and can be found in NCQA’s store. For a preview, review the data dictionary.
If your organization is interested in statistical industry-level data to improve quality, we recommend our PCMH Benchmark file, which contains data obtained through the 2011 NCQA PCMH Recognition Program—the most widely used PCMH evaluation program in the United States.
