Rachel Harrington, PhD Bio
Rachel Harrington, PhD, is Senior Product Strategist at the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). In this role she leads the development and evolution of NCQA’s patient-centered program initiatives, focusing on improving health care quality, reducing disparities, and ensuring everyone can achieve their best possible health. This continues a body of work focusing on methods to improve data, promote transparency, incentivize closure of quality gaps and, ultimately, improve systems of care. A nationally recognized expert in healthcare quality and equity, Dr. Harrington has served as an advisor for initiatives at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, National Quality Forum and the National Academy of Medicine. Prior to joining NCQA, she spent over 10 years in industry and academic health system settings with extensive experience in the areas of risk-adjusted utilization, medication safety, economic modeling and patient engagement in research. Dr. Harrington holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacy Systems, Outcomes and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Michelle Snyder serves as the Vice President of Clinical Strategies and Solutions at Sharecare, a leading digital health company dedicated to improving individual and population health outcomes. In this role, she oversees the clinical, quality, and population health strategy, driving innovation and excellence across Sharecare’s health and wellness solutions for employers, insurance companies, government agencies, and other organizations.
With over 20 years of bedside nursing experience and more than two decades in healthcare leadership, Dr. Snyder brings deep expertise in clinical operations, population health, analytics, and outcomes improvement. She is responsible for developing and executing clinical strategies, designing innovative programs, and advancing quality initiatives that enhance the health and wellbeing of members, families, and caregivers. Her work is grounded in data-driven decision-making, leveraging clinical analytics to inform and optimize program performance.
Prior to joining Sharecare, Dr. Snyder held executive roles at UnitedHealth Group, including Vice President of SNP and Disease Management Programs at WellMed, where she led the development of a successful advocacy program for Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (DSNP) members—later expanded to the broader Medicare Advantage population. At Optum, she spent 15 years leading clinical strategy and implementing targeted wellness programs, consistently achieving quality outcomes and maintaining national accreditation.
Dr. Snyder holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing Leadership and Administration and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). Her transition from direct patient care to strategic program development reflects her commitment to empowering individuals and communities to navigate the complexities of healthcare and achieve optimal outcomes.
Stacey Alvarado Bio
Stacey Alvarado is an accomplished healthcare leader with over 15 years of experience driving innovation in population health, digital care delivery, and clinical program management. Currently serving as Clinical Program Manager at Sharecare, Inc., she designs and implements evidence-based clinical frameworks, care models, and digital solutions that elevate care quality, engagement, and outcomes across large populations.
Since joining Sharecare, Stacey has held progressive leadership roles spanning clinical program design, product management, and learning and development.
Before joining Sharecare, Stacey built a strong foundation in clinical training and patient care through her role as a nurse at Mountain Vista Medical Center, where she honed her expertise in patient education, coaching, and clinical quality improvement.
Stacey holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and is a Registered Nurse (RN). Her work reflects a commitment to integrating clinical excellence with digital innovation to improve population health outcomes and empower both patients and care teams.
Diana James Lawless Bio
Diana James Lawless is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 33 years of diverse experience across clinical care, data services, accreditation, and organizational leadership. Known for her ability to lead transformative initiatives, Diana has consistently delivered measurable improvements in efficiency, compliance, and patient outcomes within high-performing, data-driven healthcare organizations.
Currently serving as a Senior Accreditation Specialist at Sharecare, she ensures adherence to industry standards while driving quality and process improvements across the enterprise. Her previous leadership roles at HealthTrust and Healthways reflect a strong track record in managing data services, creating outcome-driven reporting systems, and mentoring cross-functional teams to meet strategic goals.
Diana’s expertise spans business process improvement, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, coaching and team development, and customer service excellence. She has successfully implemented initiatives that saved her organization hundreds of thousands in productivity costs and has collaborated closely with departments from education to sales to align clinical outcomes with organizational strategy.
Holding both a Master’s in Strategic Leadership and a Bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership from Lipscomb University, Diana is a dynamic leader who blends analytical rigor with empathetic communication and active listening. She is also a long-time volunteer with Remote Area Medical and actively involved in professional development through Toastmasters.
