HEDIS Compliance Audit™
The HEDIS Compliance Audit is the gold standard for assessing the accuracy and reliability of HEDIS measure results. A HEDIS Compliance Audit is a two-part review that first evaluates a health plan’s information system capabilities for accurately collecting, managing and reporting health data, and then assesses compliance with HEDIS specifications across key domains. The methodology is flexible to provide an end-to-end evaluation of information system capabilities, assess completeness, quality and integrity of data through extraction, transformation, loading and integration and verify that measure production processes conform to technical specifications.
The HEDIS Compliance Audit is widely-used across the country and provides confidence in thousands of measure results beyond HEDIS, reported annually for public and private programs. NCQA recognizes Licensed Organizations and Certified HEDIS Auditors, as designated by NCQA, for their ability to conduct the methodology.
