Digital Quality Transformation Solutions

For more than 30 years, the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has led the health care quality movement.  In the digital age, with data standards emerging and more data readily available, there’s the opportunity to make measurement more accessible and actionable closer to the point of care to help better manage populations, support more equitable care and drive outcomes.

NCQA is again leading the charge in health care quality, this time in the digital quality space. NCQA is expanding its offerings to support and drive adoption of digital quality to make the digital quality ecosystem into one that makes quality more efficient, accurate, timely and relevant. We invite you to join us in advancing health care through NCQA’s digital quality offerings:

Digital Content Services

NCQA’s Digital Content Services is the delivery vehicle for new configurable, FHIR® CQL digital HEDIS® measures that are expanded and executable, making HEDIS® more accessible for different uses at all levels of the healthcare system. Measures align with common industry standards, including USCDI and Carin for Blue Button.

Data Validation with FHIR

Data Aggregator Validation Program evaluates clinical data streams to help ensure that health plans, providers, government organizations and others can trust the accuracy of aggregated clinical data. A FHIR option aligns data exchange requirements with NCQA HEDIS CORE, CARIN v1.1.0 and US Core v3.1.1 standards.

Digital Quality Implementer Community

A collaborative consensus-based effort to develop, advance and standardize tools and platforms that optimize digital quality measurement. The community’s work will enable the innovation and adoption of quality measurement by focusing on currently available Clinical Quality Language (CQL) engines that enable digital quality measurements and expand to include additional tools, implementers and programming languages.

FHIR® Bulk Data Quality Coalition

This coalition brings together industry stakeholders to evaluate the quality of real-world FHIR Bulk Data and to accelerate solutions for making this data truly trusted and usable. It gives an opportunity for participants to test their real world FHIR data against certain expectations and standards.
