 health care organizations in evaluating and elevating the 
 health of the populations they serve. This course will 
 provide health systems an overview of Health Equity 
 Accreditation\, outline steps for getting started with the 
 submission process\, discuss ways to ensure survey readiness\, 
 and identify challenges and how they can be addressed.\nWhat

 is Senior Manager in Product Development at NCQA. In this 
 role\, she leads NCQA's cross-functional team tasked with 
 identifying opportunities to embed expectations for health 
 equity into all pursuing new opportunities to advance health 
 equity amid a rapidly evolving health care 
 landscape.\n\nChere Gregory\, MD\, MHSDr. Chere Gregory is 
 Senior Vice President and Chief Health Equity Officer for 
 Novant Health (NH). In 2003\, as the first African American 
 woman in the United States to design and direct a 
 neurocritical care unit\, she also built the first Joint 
 Commission Certified Primary Stroke Center in the 
 Carolinas (2005). As a change agent\, innovator\, and 
 originator\, Dr. Gregory launched many NH firsts\, including: 
 a regional neurology practice\, a neuroscience hospitalist 
 team\, a stroke research center\, and a 
 DHHS multi-million-dollar stroke elimination grant. As the 
 clinical visionary for the Maya Angelou Center for 
 Women’s Health and Wellness\, she led Novant Health’s 
 inaugural view of medicine by dimensions of 
 diversity.\n \nDr. Gregory is board certified in Neurology 
 and Vascular Neurology. She received a bachelor’s degree 
 at Brown University\, Master’s in Health Finance and 
 Management at The Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School 
 of Public Health and medical degree at the University of 
 Maryland School of Medicine. She was the first African 
 American woman to complete a fellowship in neurocritical 
 care at The Johns Hopkins University School 
 of Medicine.\nContinuing Education\n\nThis live course
