Managed Behavioral Healthcare Organization (MBHO) Accreditation

NCQA's Managed Behavioral Healthcare Organization (MBHO) Accreditation Program provides consumers, employers and others with information about the quality of the nation's managed behavioral healthcare organizations. MBHOs provide behavioral healthcare services to members through an organized delivery system across a continuum of care. They should have processes designed to monitor, evaluate and improve the quality and safety of care provided to members. NCQA Accreditation includes a rigorous review against standards for improving behavioral healthcare access and services and the process of credentialing practitioners.
