Thank you for your interest in NCQA’s Speakers Bureau.  NCQA recognizes the critical state of health care today and continues to work to improve the quality of health care everywhere.   NCQA’s Speakers Bureau serves to promote NCQA’s mission and our health care quality improvement initiatives through dynamic and informative presentations.

NCQA Speakers are available to present on the 2010 State of Health Care Quality. This annual report details performance trends, tracks variations in patterns of care and provides recommendations for future quality improvement.

Now in its 14th year, the report provides an exclusive look at the performance data submitted by nearly 1000 health plans around the country. The report answers questions such as:

How does the rising cost of health care and the economic downturn affect the quality of  health care?

How does the quality of care differ from one part of the country to another?

What do we need to do to improve quality for all Americans?

NCQA requires an honorarium and reimbursement of speakers’ travel expenses. The amount of honorarium is based on the speaker’s position in the organization, length of presentation, preparation time and travel time required. See a list of NCQA speakers.
