NCQA's National Policy Conference assembles some of the nation’s leading health experts and policymakers to address the maladies of today's health care system: spiraling health costs, the swelling ranks of the uninsured and mounting evidence of uneven performance.
Previous topics include Pay-for-Performance and the Patient-Centered Medical Home, initiatives that have the potential to bring lasting, significant reform to the health care system. In 2008, the conference will focus on health care reform that considers both cost and quality.
At the conference, leading experts present the latest research, theories and marketplace case studies. Representatives from health plans, employers, consumer advocates, providers and various government sectors engage the speakers in a two-way dialogue, sharing their experiences and ideas on how best to improve health care delivery.
