Health Care Analyst
The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), whose mission is to improve the quality of health care, is seeking a Health Care Analyst.

Job Description

This position provides analytical support for the survey vendor certification program. It involves tasks in all phases of multiple survey projects, including survey vendor recruitment, training, quality oversight, data collection, coordination of analysis results and planning. Additional responsibilities include analytical and general project support, such as background research, data collection, policy and data analysis, and production of reports and databases for other related QSG projects, contracts or grants.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Health Care Analyst will support the execution of NCQA survey based program activities, specifically the Medicare HOS, through document review and preparation, organization and participation in survey vendor training, development of quality guidelines, execution of oversight activities and production of deliverables.

Additionally, this person will provide analytical support for QSG high priority contractual strategic projects related to quality reporting and data collection activities

Furthermore, the Health Care Analyst provides daily customer support for survey vendor certification program. This support should be done in a timely manner and includes working with survey vendors on program requirements, answering or directing technical questions from vendors, and internal communication to NCQA staff.

Qualifications

2 years analytical or project management experience, or a combination of education and experience which demonstrates the necessary skills and abilities for the position

Education:
Bachelor’s degree.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel for Windows
