Director, Product Development
The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), whose mission is to improve the quality of health care, is seeking a Director, Product Development.

Job Description

The purpose of this position is to direct the development of new evaluation products and the enhancement of existing products. This involves leading development teams in their work from initial concepts through final specifications. 

Duties and Responsibilities

The Director, Product Development manages work of the department and coordinates with other departments to build new products. Activities include research, analysis, consultation, modeling, drafting, and refinement. 

Additionally, this person will advise and train operations staff on implementation of new and existing products. In particular, the candidate will advise on curriculum for NCQA conferences on new products.

Furthermore, the Director, Product Development speaks with external audiences on existing and new products to further NCQA’s mission and product reach.

Qualifications

6-8 years experience in relevant health policy development and project management
Extensive recognized expertise in quality evaluation methods, preferably NCQA Accreditation and HEDIS

Education:
Master’s degree
