NCQA Recognition Programs Data License

Essential for organizations that support empowerment through provider directories and identification tools.

NCQA’s Recognition programs acknowledge practices and clinicians who use evidence-based measures and the latest clinical protocols to ensure delivery of high-quality care. Many of the nation’s leading clinicians and practices have earned NCQA Recognition. Although recognition was designed with delivery of care in mind, the programs also encourage employers, health plans and consumers to make informed heath care decisions based on quality of care.

For organizations supporting directories and identification tools, conducting research or designing incentive programs, NCQA offers, through a data license, detailed lists of practices and clinicians who achieved recognition.

NCQA’s Recognition Data License contains information for:

Clinical Programs

  • Diabetes Recognition Program (DRP)
  • Heart/Stroke Recognition Program (HSRP)

Practice Programs

  • Patient-Centered Connected Care™ (PCCC)
  • Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH)
  • Patient-Centered Specialty Practice Recognition (PCSP)
  • Physician Practice Connections (PPC)

The Recognition Programs Data License identifies clinicians and practices recognized by NCQA. (Refer to the data dictionary here for included fields.) Data files are available as a one-time or recurring monthly data feed.
