About the Program

Intro.jpgNew to credentialing, or need an in-depth explanation of NCQA’s credentialing standards? If so, you must attend this program! Faculty will walk participants through each standard and rationale, and 2008 standards changes will be highlighted. Participants will receive a volume of Credentialing standards from each NCQA accreditation product.

Upon completion of this seminar, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the NCQA Credentialing Standards
  • Identify appropriate credentialing and recredentialing documentation and operational procedures required to comply with NCQA Accreditation Standards
  • Describe potential problem areas in the credentialing process

Seminar Hours:
March 5: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., March 6: 8:30 a.m. – noon
Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. on March 5. Please note the building does not open and you will not be able to enter until 8:00 a.m.
Continental breakfast will be served both days, and lunch will be served on March 5.

NCQA is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

The National Committee for Quality Assurance designates this educational activity for a maximum of 9.3 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This educational activity is approved for 9.25 nursing education contact hours.
