About the Program

Join us for a two-day educational conference, sponsored by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).  Gain insight into how to apply quality and outcome metrics to improve performance and choose from a variety of small group sessions focused on CMS’s policy requirements for HEDIS, CAHPS, HOS, Medicare Part D, and SNPs. Hear what the experts have to say on timely issues related to pay for performance, Part C & Part D report cards, and risk-based approach to auditing.

Conference hours are 8:30 a.m.– 4:30 p.m. on Day 1; 8:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. on Day 2. Continental breakfast will be served both days; lunch will be served on Day 1.

At the conclusion of this conference, participants will be able to:

  • Operationalize CMS’ requirements for collecting Performance Measurement data.
  • Apply performance measurement data to health plan quality improvement efforts
  • Illustrate how reporting performance measurement data will empower Medicare consumers.
  • Outline current research findings in Medicare Advantage performance assessment.
  • Recognize the applicability of performance assessment data to Pay-for-Performance in managed care with an emphasis on Medicare.
