2nd Annual Public Policy Conference

NCQA’s 2nd Annual Public Policy Conference: Building the Medical Home

December 6, 2007 | Washington, D.C.

policy_2007_Q.jpgNCQA will convene its second annual Policy Conference, Building the Patient-Centered Medical Home in Washington, D.C. on December 6, 2007. This one-day conference will bring together the innovators shaping answers to such questions as why we need the medical home concept, how we can improve the quality of care and who will pay for this new approach.

Expert panelists will discuss current and proposed medical home projects and define how this concept can address disparities in access and quality of care in the current system. The most up-to-date research will be presented and we will hear from those who are using medical home models in communities around the U.S. An international panel will review how this concept has been integrated into medical systems in other countries.

Building on the success of last year's conference, there will be an opportunity for an exchange of ideas between the panelists and audience to encourage a two-way dialogue.

Conference hours are 8:30 a.m.– 4:30 p.m. Continental breakfast and lunch will be served.
