New Health Plan Accreditation Levels

New Health Plans can earn the following NCQA Accreditation status levels based on their performance against NCQA's Standards and Guidelines:

New Health Plan Accreditation:  NCQA awards this status to plans that demonstrate substantial performance within each standard category.

Denied Accreditation:  NCQA denies Accreditation to organizations that did not meet NCQA requirements during the Accreditation survey.  Denial can also occur in a situation where NCQA decides that an identified deficiency poses a potentially significant risk to the quality of member care.
