Those who earn Recognition receive the benefit of having their names highlighted in provider directories, special referrals from ADA and local media attention recognizing their achievement. Health plans can benefit by supporting the Diabetes Recognition Program for their network physicians and implementing Recognition as a network-wide quality initiative.
