NCQA Introduces Updated 2010 Quality Compass With Performance Data From Medicaid Plans
WASHINGTON, D.C.— The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) today released Quality Compass® 2010: Medicaid, the nation’s leading online database of comparable information on clinical performance and patient experience for 118 Medicaid health plan products serving eight million lives. Health plan leaders, employers, policymakers, consultants, regulators and others regularly refer to NCQA’s Quality Compass® analyze industry trends and identify opportunities for quality improvement.
Quality Compass® contains information drawn from audited data reported to NCQA through its Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) as well as the Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®). Quality Compass® 2010: Medicaid allows for the comparison of clinical performance for over a hundred Medicaid reporting products and is the most comprehensive database of HEDIS and CAHPS data on the market. The product is an excellent tool for benchmarking plan performance.
