The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), whose mission is to improve the quality of health care, is seeking an Executive Assistant to the President.
Job Description:
The Executive Assistant to the President performs a variety of complex executive level administrative duties supporting the President. This job requires the ability to work independently and responsibly; make sound decisions; exercise good independent judgment and initiative; provide high quality service to internal and external customers and respond quickly to changing priorities. This person will represent the Office of the President with the utmost of professionalism. Primary responsibilities include managing and coordinating the President's work schedule, aspects of President's travel arrangements, and conducting personal tasks for the President.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This person will manage the President’s work schedule to best balance their time spent in meetings, office time, and travel. He or she will uses independent judgment, tact, diplomacy and negotiation skills to properly prioritize the President’s daily activities.
Moreover, this person will ensure that the President is briefed and prepared with all necessary materials for daily activities and collaborate with the Leadership Team and other contacts to gather data. He or she will prepare and format reports, deliverables, and presentations for internal and external meetings, speeches, and events. This person will also draft and/or edit correspondence, budgets, financial reports and other written materials based upon President’s notes and/or guidance.
In addition, this person will arrange all travel requirements. He or she will ensure that all logistics are well planned for and detailed, as well as prepare expense reports consistent with NCQA applicable policies.
Qualifications
• 5 - 7 years progressive mid-senior level administrative experience with a thorough knowledge of office procedures.
• Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills, ability to communicate effectively and work independently
• Good writing skills and the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks.
Education:
High school diploma with some college
