About the Program

Intermediate.jpgDesigned for those who are already familiar with NCQA Health Plan accreditation standards, this program was developed and will be taught by those that are closest to the NCQA Survey process.

Faculty will review changes to health plan standards that will be implemented in 2011, including future expectations around the Medicaid standard; provide a refresher of the 2010 changes as well as facilitate a detailed discussion with attendees on how to document compliance in a clear and concise manner.
  
Participants will receive a copy of the 2011 Health Plan Standards and Guidelines OR the 2011 MBHO Standards and Guidelines.

Upon completion of this seminar, participants will be able to:

  • Prepare for an NCQA accreditation survey under the 2010 health plan accreditation standards
  • Outline NCQA’s strategy to address health care reform
  • Describe the Multicultural Health Care standards
  • Use FAQs and Policy updates to clarify confusing issues
  • Discuss the relationship between RRU and quality improvement
