About the Program

Although delegation can be the most efficient way to achieve an organization’s overall objectives, delegated relationships often prove to be challenging. This one-day seminar will address the primary pitfalls that health plans face when giving another entity the authority to carry out a function. Faculty will present best practice examples, and participants will be given an opportunity to assess real-life situations in an effort to help attendees understand how to overcome barriers that complicate the delegation process. The seminar is based on delegation standards for Health Plans (HMO, POS and PPO) and MBHOs.

Seminar hours are 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Registration is from 8:10 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
Continental breakfast and lunch will be served.

At the completion of this seminar, participants will be able to:

  • Explain NCQA Delegation requirements
  • Describe how NCQA Surveyors assess delegation
