Accreditation Manager

Position will be located in D.C. office.

The Accreditation Manager will manage the survey process to prepare customers and survey team members for surveys, adjudicate customer inquiries pertaining to surveys, conduct accreditation and certification surveys, review preliminary survey results for accuracy and completeness, and respond to customer comments on the preliminary survey results. In support of this role, Accreditation Managers are actively involved in developing policies and procedures for accreditation, including the development of new and refinement of existing standards. Accreditation managers also serve as a product champion, gaining special expertise in at least one product.

The Customer Support Specialist provides highly responsive quality service to customers. Log and categorize each customer interaction in customer tracking system. Provides technical support to end-user customers to navigate multiple online applications and products. Trouble-shoot, triage and problem solve complex, technical issues for customers. Provides detailed information about NCQA, its products and services. Health Care Analyst

The Health Care Analyst provides research and project support. The Health Care Analyst supports multiple externally funded projects and NCQA programs focused on health care policy, performance measures development and implementation of quality review and oversight activities. Major responsibilities: gathering and synthesizing information obtained from various sources, including literature and evidence reviews and consulting with methodological and content experts; performing and managing tasks in all phases of a project including research, data collection, data analysis and production of draft reports and proposals.  The Health Care Analyst also communicates with internal and external clients.

Health Care Analyst, Quality Solutions Group

This position resides in the organization’s consulting group. It provides operational and oversight support for contracts, which is initially specified as Hospital CAHPS Survey (HCAHPS) contract in addition to other national and state projects that implement and use health care quality information. It involves tasks in all phases of multiple projects including training, quality oversight, data collection, preparation and quality assurance of written deliverables and customer service. Additional responsibilities include analytical and general project support, such as research, data collection, data analysis, and production of reports. The Analyst must have very strong writing skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to work independently on multiple tasks/projects in coordination with other internal and external project team members. Twenty percent travel is required.

Manager, Recognition Programs

The role of the Recognition Manager is to aid practices pursuing transformation or sustaining Patient-Centered Recognition. The manager will provide support and oversight of the evaluations conducted on practices. Acting as an internal content and subject-matter expert, the manager will resolve content questions that arise from practices during or preparing for evaluations. The manager will assess criteria completion of practices and organizations pursuing recognition. Through virtual interactions, the manager will utilize their skills to assess practice functions, activities, setup, electronic systems, and materials during the review process. The manager will also conduct audits of virtual surveys to assess compliance with NCQA's recognition program requirements and skills of external evaluators.

The Phyllis Torda Health Care Quality Fellowship Program enables NCQA to train a new generation of health care quality leaders from diverse backgrounds. It celebrates the life of Phyllis Torda, who was devoted to improving the national health care system. Research Scientist

NCQA is recruiting a Research Scientist to develop, lead, and collaborate on research and performance measure development focusing on a variety of areas including any of the following: quality improvement, long-term services and supports, geriatric medicine, palliative care, behavioral health, children’s health, risk-adjustment and patient-reported outcomes.  The position is primarily funded by grants and contracts.  The Research Scientist will lead/collaborate on the development and implementation of research grants, direct the implementation of ongoing measure development efforts, supervise quantitative and qualitative data collection efforts, prepare scientific manuscripts and reports for broad stakeholder audiences, represent NCQA to key scientific and stakeholder audiences.

Senior Research Associate

The Senior Research Associate in the Quality Measurement & Research Group is principally responsible for managing the development and evaluation of quality measure initiatives. The Senior Research Associate must be highly organized, demonstrate creativity and proficiency in applying analytical methods using complex data, and make difficult decisions while operating in contingent environments. This position requires specialized knowledge of health related topics, specifically an in-depth knowledge of nationally-recognized quality metrics (e.g., HEDIS, ACO, MU), industry standard code sets (e.g., ICD, CPT, SNOMED), and data sources (e.g., claims, encounter, registry, charts, EHRs and survey).

Senior Research Scientist
