About the Program

Intro.jpgNew to credentialing or need an in-depth explanation of NCQA’s credentialing standards? If so, this program is the one for you! Faculty will walk participants through a detailed explanation of each Credentialing standard. Participants will receive a Special Volume that contains Credentialing standards from each NCQA accreditation product.

Upon completion of this seminar, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the NCQA Credentialing standards
  • Identify appropriate credentialing and recredentialing documentation and operational procedures required to comply with NCQA accreditation standards
  • Describe potential problem areas in the credentialing process

In support of improving patient care, the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.  
 
NCQA designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 9 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should only claim the credit that corresponds with their level of participation in the activity.
